This painting was created during a time when life felt especially fragile.
Faced with the illness of my parents,
I became deeply aware of how quickly life can change,
and how much of our lives are lived within uncertainty.
I turned to the canvas without knowing exactly what I needed to say.
Through movement, colour, and layers,
I allowed fear, sadness, love, and gratitude to exist together.
Rather than trying to resolve these emotions,
the painting became a space to sit with them,
to let them unfold, overlap, and breathe.
Within the uncertainty, I began to discover something quieter.....
𝘏 𝘖 𝘗 𝘌 .
Not the certainty that everything will be okay,
but the quiet willingness to remain present with life as it is.
To keep moving, even when the path ahead is unclear.
Perhaps this painting will bring you back to a moment when you,
too, found yourself standing in the unknown,
holding emotions that had no easy answers,
yet discovering a small light within them.
Perhaps it will remind you that hope does not always arrive all at once.
Sometimes, it reveals itself slowly.
One layer at a time, layer by layer,
